People ask how I create.  The answer is usually one of these two ways…

I create either by force or by flow.

Flow is preferred, but it is temperamental.  It requires the correct time, environment, enough mental space and mood.  It must be attended to immediately upon inspiration.  It produces the best result.

Force is accessible at any time or place, but it is like picking fruit before it’s ripe.  You can pick sour cherries, add sugar, and make a pie; Flow is walking by a cherry tree, seeing bright red juicy cherries falling off branches and suddenly, you’re inspired to make a pie - no sugar needed.

And sometimes Force can instigate Flow, which is like when the sour cherry pie with sugar suddenly inspires cherry cobbler, cherries jubilee, and a cherry extravaganza.
